Upon enrolling my children in school, I decided to be an active part of their education. So, I assisted their teachers with everything I could. Eventually, I became a trusted part of the school system (an honorary teacher, so to speak). They began giving me more responsibilities, concerning the children of the school. I tutored hundreds of students to increase their FCAT results, single-handedly; I corrected documents, daily; I worked on setting up the computers for the teachers and students, and I trained both to use them. I even learned magic, so that I could help teach the students their studies, in a fun and exciting way. A Little Bit About Me...

English has always been my best subject. It was natural for me to major in English Education when I decided to go back to college. I believe that when I teach English, I make it fun but most importantly, understandable. I love reading and reviewing the different genres that this subject covers, especially short stories and novels. I taught Kindergarten for five years at two different Title-1 schools in Okeechobee, Florida. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students including those afflicted with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Prior to my teaching experience, I have also had experience interning in 2nd grade and 4th grade classrooms, worked with extended day programs and tutored elementary school students.
