My style of teaching consists of two parts: first, to understand and visualize the concept and the problem; and second, doing the mechanics of problem solving. I prefer to work with the basic equations rather than memorizing the variations of the formula. I work with examples.
I work as a civil engineer and geophysicist. I spent ten years as a substitute teacher for middle and high school. I volunteered to assist teachers. I did this because my son had difficulty learning. I worked with him until he graduated, he’s doing great and tested out of college math through geometry. I have an AA degree from FL Community College with additional classes in Education from UNF.
