I have completed all requirements for a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught mathematics, computer applications, life skills, and other subjects at high school and community college levels in Colorado. I have tutored and homeschooled statistics, college algebra, trigonometry, and other mathematics topics, and homeschooled a complete spectrum of high school level topics.
I believe in interactive teaching, where the student is as involved as the teacher. My satisfaction comes from watching students discover knowledge that they had previously thought unavailable. Every student can learn, and my purpose and goal is to help each student stretch as far as he or she is willing to go.

A Little Bit About Me...

After completing my BBA in Marketing, I began teaching for the Bradford Union Career and Technical Center. I taught business and systems technology to inmates at a state prison for approximately 2 1/2 years. After leaving the Career Center I opened my own business which I currently run. In the past I have also been a marketing consultant and have taught entrepreneurship and business skills at workshops. I am currently pursuing an MA in Applied Economics that I plan to use to teach Economic Development at the College level.

I am a graduate of the University of Florida and have been fortunate enough to excel in school throughout my life. I started tutoring in middle school and continued throughout my college career. I earned my bachelors degree in Accounting so I would like to believe my education is well-rounded. My favorite/strongest subject is math but am versatile in all subject areas.
