I have loved education and the process of learning since I was a child. Due to family issues, I dropped out at in the 9th grade but due to extensive reading most of my life on many subjects, and being gifted intellectually, thank God, I was enrolled in college at the age of 16. Due to my age, I lacked the discipline needed to succeed then so joined the Army at 18 and finished first in my class in their HS program. I continued going to college in the evenings an weekends until I completed my Master's degree, meanwhile raising 3 children and running a certified home daycare. I am currently a Realtor but am looking to enroll in a Doctoral program in Education. Translating Bosnian/English during ESL classes for adults and tutored K-12 students after school. *Tutored and taught international college students and adults working on their GEDs at the Adult Learning Center of Bowling Green Technical college for a year. *Tutored college English and Chemistry for five months at the American University in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) during study abroad term. *As the eldest of five children, I was a private tutor for my siblings from K-12 and even some college.
