A Little Bit About Me...

Educating students and helping them succeed has been a passion of mine for ten years now, both in the classroom and in one-on-one situations. I began tutoring in high school as a volunteer with the California Scholarship Federation, and I continued through college and beyond with various companies in California. I have tutored and taught elementary, junior high, and high school students Enlish and Math. I completed high school by getting a four on the Calculus AP test. I received my BA in English, my teaching credential, and my MA in Education from the University of California, Davis. I now teach English Language Learners. My first tutoring experience was in high school, assisting other students in Algebra. I have earned two bachelor degrees, a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Computer Science. After college I worked at an insurance company as an IT Training Advisor. My primary responsibility was to train new software developers on the technologies and best practices used at our company.
