A Little Bit About Me...

As an advanced student in highschool algebra, my teacher chose me to tutor one struggling athlete and one girl trying to raise her B to an A for acceptance to an Ivy League University. In discovering their different learning styles, I was able to teach my students in a way they understood. Seeing the light in their eyes as they figured out a problem gave me a passion for teaching. Your student is capapble of learning; it is my responsibility to discover their learning style and present the material in a way that he or she understands.

I am a firm believer in demanding excellence from my students. A Little Bit About Me...

After graduation, I taught on a transitional teaching license. I taught in the Woodburn School District. I then went to Japan and taught English as a second language. I grew up between Bolivia and the United States and speak Spanish and English fluently. I took statistics in university and taught math in Spanish from time to time as a substitute for the Woodburn School District. In Woodburn I taught a self contained classroom for a while. I had to teach ELL students Social Studies, Math, Language arts in both Spanish and English and science. As a substitute I taught all kinds of classrooms including all subject matters.
