I am a firm believer in demanding excellence from my students. Also, without a goal one cannot achieve anything; therefore we set challenging goals, and utilize every resource in our capacity to achieve those goals. To take the student on the most challenging course as an educator sometimes we must take the course with them. I believe in diversity in teaching styles because each student is unique and each has different abilities in various areas. As a substitute in the Woodburn School district I could pick up material quickly and teach in various teaching styles depending on the classroom.
After graduation, I taught on a transitional teaching license. I taught in the Woodburn School District. I then went to Japan and taught English as a second language. I grew up between Bolivia and the United States and speak Spanish and English fluently.
