As a chess player for over 40 years I understand the importance of connecting with each person on an individual level to compliment the personality as it is expressed on the chess board. I have tutored children and adults for 20 years in the Denver area. At the scholastic level my students improved by a minimum of one full class ranking(average 200 elo rating points). Adult students who wish to enter tournaments will receive training based on an emphasis in tactics and combinational play. This is the heart of chess.
