Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I have grown up with a sibling who is Deaf and always used sign language to communicate and I have been an Interpreter for more than 15 years and was NAD IV certfified in 2000. In addition, I have an ESSE V certification.

I have worked nearly two decades in the educational system as a Sign Language Interpreter. I have experience with K-12, Community College, and University levels. I worked as Mentor for a K-12 school district with 13 Mentees for five years. Because of the new state law, the Mentee's goal was to become certified to continue with employment. 10 out of the 13 Mentee's succeeded in compliance with the state law.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that students can reach their potential if they are given the tools that they need. My job is to be the toolbox for them. I enjoy teaching and helping all children. I am a strong believer that all children can be taught all subjects, and should be given the opportunity to do just that.
