My style is relaxed. Many students appear frightened of math at first. I cover each subject well, allowing students to ask many questions. My focus has been to take the material and translate it from the often-impenetrable form found in textbooks to a more accessible, practical presentation. I worked at the Tutoring Club in Folsom, CA for 1 year. I tutored a variety of age groups, mostly high school age, in mathematics up through calculus, chemistry, biology and physics. I also worked at the learning center through Humboldt State University for about a year. Other than that, I have had multiple students for private tutoring sessions since 2005. So I have about 4 years experience in tutoring overall. I obtained 5 associates degrees from American River College in May 2007. They include AS in mathematics, math/science and general science with AA in liberal arts and general education transfer.
