A Little Bit About Me...

From as long as I can remember I have had a passion for science and the arts which explains why I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology a Masters degree in Art Therapy. Although I do not have a teaching certificate, I have taught painting for over 15 years at a local technical college. I did a lot of tutoring at the junior high level and helped my own children with algebra and science all through high school. My medical background contains and in depth knowledge of chemistry, biology and math, whereas Art Therapy is a combination of art and psychology. I have a BS from the university of wisconsin oshkosh. My area of study was Professional chemistry with a biochem emphisis. I have taken courses in physics, materials science, biochem, molecular and cell biology, organic chemistry physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, ect. I have 3+ years of experience working as a process chemist in a manufacturing and research and development setting.
I have some experience as a swimming instructor as well as a privet tutor for a non traditional student who was having a hard time grasping the concepts of all science not just chemistry. I have always enjoyed discussing science related topics in an acidemic and professinal atmosphere.
