I have 13 years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught in various elementary setting including urban, suburban, and rural populations. A Little Bit About Me...

I don't have a "one size fits all" approach to teaching; rather, I try to tailor my approach to the learning style of the student. I am an easy going individual who attempts to make learning fun and relate it to real life examples. With physics and calculus, there are many instances when assignments can be very difficult to comprehend because it's difficult to see how a derivative or integral relates to real life situations. A Little Bit About Me...

From as long as I can remember I have had a passion for science and the arts which explains why I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology a Masters degree in Art Therapy. Although I do not have a teaching certificate, I have taught painting for over 15 years at a local technical college.
