Summer Reading/English Tutor

I tutored two boys ages 6 and 9 in the areas of reading and spelling. I have been tutoring them on and off during the school year for the past 2 years. I also teach English classes once a week during the school year at the Immigration Center of America (ICA) in Farmville, VA during the school year. I teach basic English and grammar to adults who are non-native English speakers.

As a tutor, I worked with students (freshmen-seniors) on basic editorial skills, correct punctuation, and the overall writing process (brainstorming, rough drafts, final copies, etc). However, my experience does not only tend to the college level - I have also worked with children in middle and high school for SAT prep, reading comprehension, and grammar.
