I am an upcoming freshman at East Georgia State College. During high school, I took all Advanced Placement classes and was rewarded the highest 4-year average in Mathematics, Science, and Literature. Also, I was a dual-enrolled student at EGSC during my high school career, completing advanced level courses in Literature and Mathematics. I scored a 1200 composite in math and reading on the SAT, earning the Zell Miller college tuition scholarship. Additionally, I tutored underclassman in all four core-subjects and for the SAT.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been involved with youth for a long time as scoutmaster and as coach in recreational soccer. I enjoy working with children, especially if they are willing to learn and improve their skills and knowledge. I assess the student's grasp on the subject and determine where assistance is needed. Using various means I then help the student to get the knowledge needed to achieve academic success.
As a student in high school, I became fascinated with Chemistry and went on to earn a BS in Chemistry. The position I landed after school dealt with additives in rubber and plastics, so eventually I went on to earn a MS degree in Polymer Science. This helped me to land a better position. As a Paine College student, I do some substitute teaching to have some experience with teaching students a variety of mathematics and other subjects. I will be getting my BS in Mathematics with emphasis of Computer Science. I am planning to get teacher certification in Georgia and start teaching mathematics.

As a teacher of three years, math is my life. I enjoy teaching math and have completed a math degree at Georgia College and State University. I am almost finished with my Masters in Secondary Mathematics. I am familiar with all levels of Mathematics from Algebra to the higher level math courses.
