Praxis Exam is one of my top subjects! Have successfully passed various praxis testing; Have tutored my daughter whom has passed the 1st time on her PA testing for teaching.

I have been working with the education field for 13 years. I have primarily worked in special education which has given the unique experience o teaching or co-teaching all subject areas. I am currently the special education coordinator a charter school in Philadelphia. Prior to working in Philadelphia, I taught social studies, math, English and GED preparation for adults. I love working with all children. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and I try very hard to find out what works for the individual learner. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to tell people that i did not choose teaching; rather I believe it chose me. I have always worked with children that were struggling whether it was socially or academically. I was typically working with what are known as the "at risk" students. However, I eventually found my way into the classroom as It was noticed that I had a natural ability to balance teaching in the content area and managing behaviors. In my classroom I teach using lessons that incorporate VATK (visual, auditory, tactile-kinesthetic)methods to teach the way my diverse students learn. For reading and mathematics test preparation, the methods used at my school have 100% of our students scoring proficient or above grade level on PSSA tests. Lessons should be organized, interesting, and should include a clear goal, and plan for achieving the goal.
