My comments on tutoring Writing : I am a special education teacher who has taught and provided services within this subject area for students between K-8th grade.

I have several years of experience working in the field of education. My primary role has been as a K-8 special education teacher. I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it. There I worked in the NIU Writers’ Workshop, tutoring freshman students with assignments from their English classes.
