I have experience in working with children and young people in my missions and humanitarian work. I have lead teams of teenagers and worked with children in local schools, orphanages, and community organizations. I also worked at a daycare during my internship in 2004.

My nine years experience with children has honed my ability to connect with my students at a high level of excellence in education. My Bachelors degree in Sociology has enabled me to see students at their individual needs in learning. I believe that you need to learn a language with an expert. A person who not only speaks the language, but someone who can teach it. A language instructor needs to be a professional teacher/trainer with the necessary education and experience to lead students of all ages and backgrounds, to an enjoyable learning experience. Someone who is comfortable and competent teaching a large class, a small group or one-on-one tutoring. Although computer programs, web sites, online lessons, audio and video lessons can be helpful, they do not replace the face to face interaction with an experienced native language instructor.

As a graduate of East Carolina University, I have continued to be persistent in every aspect of my teaching career. I have earned only a bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in child studies, which have helped me to develop and become the teacher that I am now.
