During my time in high school, I started going to math tutoring to work on my homework. There was one fantastic teacher, and many students. When I would finish my homework, I would help others. Later, in college, I passed math and once again found myself helping others. When a work-study position opened up, the learning assistance program hired me as an in-class tutor/teacher’s assistant. The program switched directors, and I began working one-on-one with students who required an individual instructor.
