Desiring to continue to teach, I finished a Master's degree which gave me the endorsements to teach K-12 children with special needs. I have been involved in various aspects of teaching and tutoring for the past 14 years. I have tutored students one-on-one for reading, writing, and math, and have taught private music lessons for voice (since 2005), violin (since 2005), and piano (since 2004). Dedicated, patient, caring and knowledgeable are all the characteristcs that I would want in a tutor. Those are definitely characteristics that describe me. I have worked with children for the past 12 years in settings from private, public and special needs population. I enjoy working with children and teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

Beginning my sign language career in high school, I have learned to embrace the beautiful language and culture of the deaf community. At that time, I began to tutor a deaf child with minimal language skills and have been tutoring on and off ever since. During my college years, I was asked to tutor American Sign Language for the University of South Florida's athletic program. Currently, I am an educational sign language interpreter working in a middle school.
