A Little Bit About Me...

After earning a BA in Biology and Political Science I spent several years researching. I have been teaching biology at the high school level for the past 18 years and truly enjoy it. I am working on a master's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education at the University of Miami and curently I am teaching anatomy & physiology at a senior high school. In the last five years I have tutored many college level students in biology.

More About This Tutor...

Being pre-med with a strong interest in Pediatrics, I have a desire to work with children. This can be seen from my numerous volunteer activities at locations such as: the Ronald McDonald House, Shands Pediatric Specialty Clinic and Junior Achievement. I am patient and easy going and understand that some students require more time and instruction to learn. In the end, I feel that all students are capable of learning if the teacher is willing to explore different techniques until he/she finds one that works with that student. I also feel that it is important for the student to be able to relate to his/her teacher.
