I used to hate having teachers that didn't break everything down so I was able to understand it. I tutor people by breaking the subject down and making sure they can understand the basics. Using Technology and Simplicity to Explain Difficult Topics

I understand A&P is a very frustrating topic at first. However, what I like to show everyone is we already come in with a great understanding of familiarity of this topic, since we live it every day. What I try to do for the topics that seem very complex is break them down into easy to understand points. For example, I discuss how blood flowing through the vessels is like water flowing through a garden hose. The water pressure is similar to blood pressure, etc. I always do my best to organize material in a thorough manner and adapt to the learning pace of the student. Helping People Learn One Step at a Time

For the last five years of my life I have dedicated myself to exploring the different fields and ecosystems involved in marine biology. As a college freshman I started by working in a Fish Ecologist's laboratory examining otoliths to map the age, growth, and distribution of fish. From there I was accepted into an island semester program where I had the opportunity to live off of a marine reserve for six months. Before heading to the island to study marine ecosystems, I became a certified diver of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences.
