I loved teaching! I think I retired too early because I miss the every day challenges and excitement teaching gives! I have been trained in 4Mat and Gardners Multiple Intelligences. My undergraduate degree is in Civil Engineering and I have recently become eligible to teach elementary education, middle school science and middle school math in New Jersey. I have had success as a tutor on several occasions as an undergraduate teaching assistant and a peer tutor. Currently, I am assisting two students in high school math and they are both responding well.

I'm Alfred University Graduate student in Literacy Education, graduating in May, 2010. I attended AU for my undergrad work in Elementary education. During my time here I was able to do my student teaching, which were the best learning experiences I've had.
