Having a great thirst for knowledge, I was torn between Accounting or Engineering to major in, in college. Having a passion for numbers and electrical design, I chose electrical engineering, where I received a BS Degree in 1995. I have about two years experience as teacher. I taught for a brief period of time in 1977 when I taught Chemistry and Biology at a high school in Lagos Nigeria. I also helped students in college who had difficulty with Math between 1978 when I was a student at Camden County College in Blackwood New Jersey.
While teaching is not my main profession, I enjoy teaching because in most cases, I was able to build a level of confidence in my students. Often times I found that some people simply have a phobia about certain subjects. Once I am able to remove that by engaging the student to understand and think through a question, they are able to gain confidence and build on that.
