Since acheiving my first accounting designation from the UK in 1991 I have taught accounting and Business Law to adults until 1998 when I migrated to the US. While here I was succesful in passing my CPA exams and I am now a member in good stabding with AICPA and Delaware Society of CPAs. While teaching is not my main profession, I enjoy teaching because in most cases, I was able to build a level of confidence in my students. Often times I found that some people simply have a phobia about certain subjects. Once I am able to remove that by engaging the student to understand and think through a question, they are able to gain confidence and build on that.
