I am a graduate of Chowan University with a BA in Mathematics. While at Chowan I was one of the lead math tutors where I tutored college students in college algebra, intro to college algebra, applied calculus, and a few local high school students in geometry. Most of the time I worked with single students but I am also able to manage 2 or 3 at a time and/or groups of 2 or 3.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : Received an 'A' in the first two college Spanish courses.

Tutored on TutorSelect.come before a few years back and successfully tutored over ten individual students as well as a couple of group sessions with in between 2 and 4 students. All the students I tutored were either in high school or college. My topic I predominately tutor and that I most enjoy tutoring is mathematics. I've taken Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, all three college Calculus courses, and Differential Equations. I also took both college-level General Chemistry courses and both calculus-based Physics courses. I also was responsible in most of my classes for developing a weekly schedule for tutoring/studying course topics with fellow classmates and friends. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I studied abroad in Argentina for 1 year during my freshman year of undergraduate studies where I learned to speak the Spanish language with fluency as well as taking classes in Spanish grammar and vocabulary. Also during my undergraduate studies, I received a minor in Spanish and had another opportunity to study abroad for a summer in Honduras, where I learned about Honduran history and worked as a teacher assistant in a Honduran elementary school. I have also traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador working as a Spanish translator for mission trips with my local church. In addition to experiences abroad, I worked as a Spanish tutor for 3 years during my undergraduate studies helping students at all levels of Spanish classes, including College Spanish I-IV.
