Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

My comments on tutoring Algebra III : I took algebra III in high school and passed. Math just comes to me easily and naturally so I didn't have to study much to excel and succeed in mathematics.

Asking students about problem areas so I can make a quiz to see what fundamentals are missing. Can help with homework and test preparation too.

All the students I tutored were either in high school or college. My topic I predominately tutor and that I most enjoy tutoring is mathematics.
