Physics is one of my top subjects!

I have taught high school students for five years now. However, I have taught college freshman for a year only. But, I do know what I am doing and I know how to help students. I am patient with everyone so I can communicate better and understand my students problems so, I have always succeeded in helping my students.
I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. Therefore, I will be able to communicate with m y students better and help them excel in studies and eliminate their weak points in any subject. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe everyone is capable of being successful in mathematics. It is only a matter of being trained. I am very meticulous and detail-oriented. I provide insight into the nuances of each particular problem and promote practice, because in the end the only way to do math is to practice math.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida Tech graduating near the top of my class while earning a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Engineering. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in my graduate course work. I am currently working as a Mechincal Engineer and would love to assist others with their math needs. The most important part of teaching is to teach students the principle or concept behind a subject. I do not believe in making students memorize absurdly large lists of facts in order to pass a test. Learning should be more fundamental than that. When a student has been successfully taught something, the student should be able to solve an array of problems with a common theme.
At college I worked as a tutor for two years in the areas of chemistry and mathematics. I earned BA's in chemistry and biochemistry and have some laboratory experience. Having been educated at a liberal arts school has also given me the opportunity to study philosophy and sociology. I also write well, as writing is emphasized in all disciplines of study at Knox.
