Aerospace Engineer with tutoring experience

I teach through examples and Q&A. I strongly encourage students to interrupt with questions as the occur. I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn. For instance, I've noticed that math students may have difficulty adding and subtracting fractions, but have no trouble whatsoever when I ask about dimes and quarters.
