While working on my PhD. I was a graduate teaching fellow for the Dept. of Ed. Teacher-Scholar program. I supervised undergraduates in organic chemistry labs, graded exams, led recitation sections and graded homework for both organic and general chemistry lecture courses. I developed and presented a chemistry class for HP technicians, and was the HP Education Liaison for the University of Oregon. As an undergraduate at the University of Montana – Billings I was a teaching assistant in the general and organic chemistry labs and tutored both chemistry and physics at the college level. I recently relocated to Portland from the New York City / New Jersey area after working in the e-marketing department at Carnegie Hall. I've studied piano throughout my life, starting at age 7, and graduated Westminster Choir College in Princeton NJ with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2005. While at Westminster, much of the curriculum I studied was focused on music education and piano pedagogy. I have experience teaching private piano lessons to all ages (as young as 5 and as old as 70), teaching music in elementary school classes, and tutoring other college students.
