Experienced. Effective. The logical choice.

I have always enjoyed teaching others sharing my love of learning. I find it most effective to use a variety of methods to successfully teach information. Material is best learned when it can be easily understood by the student and has practical applications for everyday life. I am not the type of tutor to just hand out answers to problems. I guide my students down a path of critical thinking, all the while leading them to the answer by asking a series of questions designed to stimulate their thought process. I graduated high school in the International Baccalaureate program with a 4.5 gpa and 30 college credits. I then went on to the University of Colorado starting out as a sophomore. I graduated 3 years later with a degree in Integrative Physiology. I have an extensive background in science and math. I just finished at the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Biology and Secondary education. I can teach 7-12th grade all science areas and really enjoy all levels of science. Going through high school and college I obtained a great work ethic which helped me succeed to the Dean's list, and various other titles.
