I find out what exactly the student is lacking in the subject by asking a few basic questions on the topic and make a judgement of the student's understanding on the topic and then proceed forward. I normally explain the concepts in diagrams so that it makes it easier for the student to visualize the problem and give the student plenty of practice problems for him/her to work on to make their understanding better
I have taught over 20 students during my undergraduate and graduate study. Most of the students that I have taught are engineering students who need help with the basic understanding of concepts and visualizing problems. A Little Bit About Me...

While earning my bachelor's degree, I worked in several tutoring programs assisting students with reading comprehension and writing composition skills. I taught grammar to small groups, read one-on-one with third graders and assisted junior high school students with their homework assignments. Though my degree is in fine art, I began my undergraduate career as an English major. In high school I took both AP English exams and I went on an honors trip to England to study British literature.
