I started tutoring in 9th grade, and continued until my freshman year of college. I tutored middle school and high school students in math, sciences, and social studies. With every student I’ve worked with I’ve found that the key to truly appreciating the creative joys of art (whether it be writing, drama, film or painting) is to make clear the inexorable link between the basics of reading and writing and creative freedom.
