I have been developing teaching programs for various studies since 1979. I have also prepared and made many presentations to professional groups on various topics. I have also provided educational programs for private clients for many years to suit their needs. I have taught business law in a classroom setting. My teaching style is based on building an empowering relationship between teacher and student. As an engineering graduate from BYU, I have extensive training in physics and math, as well as a solid foundation in how to apply these studies to real life situations. Problem solving is a strong suit, and I feel the principles gained from engineering studies apply to a host of fields where the primary objective is solving problems. As a volunteer in Japan for 2 years and also as an engineer with Toyota, I have developed comfortable conversational Japanese in both personal and scientific settings.
