I have tutored a handful of high school students in English and Mathematics. My personality in my social life is outgoing, friendly, and talkative. My tutoring style is no different. In my own schooling experience, I've found that I learn quicker and most efficiently when the person teaching me is more of a friend than a superior. The students I've tutored looked at me as a peer who could help them with their studies as opposed to a teacher. I whole heartedly believe that a comfortable and friendly atmosphere is the key to successful learning. I have a wealth of experience in many different areas. I have a bachelor degree in Economics. I started to work with special needs children. This was on a volunteer basis and so I don't think I listed it on my resume. I then substituted in the public schools for elementary and secondary schools. I tutored in the community college to college students. I opened my own school and taught medical classes. I have taught ESL in South Korea for 3 years to kids and adults.
I like to incorporate heart when I teach. Every student is special and keeps teaching interesting. I believe in the ability of the learner and must help them find success. I am patient but firm. I know I am easy going and considerate and respectful of the students. I am a change agent in the lives of children. I am now a university student for the secondary school certification.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with kids. I believe that the kids are our future and if we adults don't help them grow up to be leaders and make better choices in their lives we will not have any sense of direction.
I have earned two bachelor degrees which has given me the chance to motivate other youths and kids to seek the world and don't let it end with High school. There is more to life. Granting that Education is the key to success and without education there will be no sense of direction.
