A Little Bit About Me...

I attended the University of North Dakota for 4 years and in that time received a BA in Anthropology which has provided me the experience and knowledge of helping people in holistic ways. I now attend graduate school to obtain an MS in Applied Anthropology. Just about every semester I have written a 7-15 page research paper and have written several other essays, reports, and assignments in general. I have also done research for domestic violence organizations and helped teach college-level introduction courses.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my sophomore year in high school I decided to begin tutoring ESL students. I found the ability to help others succeed very rewarding, and began tutoring fellow classmates in courses including but not limited to English, math, biology, and chemistry. These sometimes difficult subject always made sense to me and I enjoyed watching as the students I tutored were successful. A Little Bit About Me...

I want each of my students to reach their full potential, and have some fun along the way. The experience of twenty-three years in the classroom has taught me a great deal about how to address a wide range of skills and abilities in students. I know that some students learn better using auditory means, while others learn more visually, or that some are linguistic learners, some spatial learners, and some learn through body kinesthetics.
