During the last 10 years I have worked with all levels of students, preschool through college levels. These areas include reading, math, english, psychology, science and social studies. I am a self starter and have worked with parents when I owned/operated my private daycare. I have since then worked with children in low poverty communities in Atlanta Georgia, in order to provide an alternative method to learning to ensure that children receive the appropriate level of understanding of various subjects.
What I have learned working with students is that many do not learn in the same manner. I beleive in what is called top process learning. Given the student a concept and allowing them to explore the possibilities of how one arrives at such a concept has allowed deeper critical thinking and strategic planning. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is my passion and I highly enjoying working and educating others. I believe that teaching should be implemented with enthusiasm, love, passion and innovation. A child should be given the best learning environment that will facilitate exploration, independence and growth. Thus the child will develop a natural desire and motivation to learn with and without the presence of a teacher. My teaching style is that of a facilitator and demonstrator.
With my collegiate experience, I have taught as a ESL assistant at school; helped special needs college students through reading and producing Books-on-Tape; and served as an ESL tutor for Inlingua. Indeed I have developed and perfected my communication and writing skills from writing research papers, laboratory reports, essays and public presentations of my work.
