It is a joy to be able to work with children. I understand that we all learn in different ways and I like working with students to help them find which way is best for them. I am driven, determined and goal oriented. I like to tap into a child's passion and find what they are truly passionate about. We all have hidden talents that need tapping into.
I earned my BS in Political Science and obtained a MBA in 2008. I am currently working on my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I tutored students in an array of subjects from 1996-2000. I also tutored and mentored children at Burke Elementary School from 2005-2008. I currently serve as the Chairperson of the Youth Directors Board at my church, which I work with the youth in various areas.

My teaching style is hands-on. I believe that while students gain knowledge through auditory and visual methods of learning, it is vital that they are given practical tasks that put their skills to use.
