I try to teach my students according to their style of learning-verbal, oral, kinisthetic, hands on etc. RN for 16 years. Have been teaching at the college level for 3 yrs as a nursing instructor. Currently working on my MSN in nursing education. Have tutored elementary students in the past in reading, writing, spelling, math etc. Teaching is my passion whether its adults or children!! I can also help tutor those in health sciences-anatomy, physiology or any nursing classes.

I love teaching all ages and skill levels. I adjust my teaching style to the individual - some people are visual learners or oral learners or hands-on learners. I teach by example and try to encourage my students to understand "why" rather than just "how." I began college as an engineering major, so I have background in advanced mathematics and physics. I went on to change my major to psychology where I gained knowlege of social and behavioral sciences, as well as research technologies and statistical analysis. Since graduating college with a B.A. in psychology, I have worked as a psychology researcher, accounting assistant, and in 3 different roles for an international pharmaceutical company.
