I have always expressed an interest in the education field since graduating high school. I earned my AA as well as my BA while serving on active duty in the Army. I was in the military for 8 years and recently seperated to persue a civilian career in order to be closer to my family. While I was in the military I found myself in leadership positions as well as instructor positions throughout varies activities in my career. I am currently in the process of receiving my Masters in Education with a Curriculum Development degree. I earned my B.A. in English Literature from the University of Arkansas in 2004. While enrolled in Spanish classes, I volunteered with the Amigos Program. I have earned a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I am currently working as a chemist, so I have kept up with all the new studies that are taking place right now. I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in.
