A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience working with students from Kindergarten through adult education. My earliest teaching experience was with primary grade children (K-2) in an inner-city school district. I taught basic skills to incarcerated men in a NJ Correctional Facility. I have experience working with first generation college students in need of remedial coursework before advancing to college level courses. I'm currently working (part-time) teaching GED writing and math, 2 evenings a week.

I am an Elementary school teacher for 6 years. I have my BA in Psychology, from Rutgers University, and hold my teaching certificate for Elementary K-6 and Special Education K-12. I love learning to be a student and to teach.

I have taught in both high school the last 7 years and college for 2 years teaching reading and writing. I have taught English in the summers 2007-2010 to International Students.
