My name is Jim, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to be your or your child's tutor.I am a junior at Georgia Tech now. I have a double major of mechanical and computer science. My GPA is 3.7, and I got a full score of math in all my ACT tests. Also, I am top 25% students in my major. I tutored at my high school for three years and have been surrounded by teachers my whole life. I am about to start tutoring at my college this summer and continue into the fall part time. I am patient and understanding. I have taken a few education classes and several math classes, both lower and upper level.

With other students, I point out a few mistakes, and then expect them to find the others on their own. With math, I will give out a sample problem, work out how it is done, then expect the student to do a new math problem on his or her own. All in all, I will adjust my teaching style depending on the needs of the client.
