I have tutored several people in the past in basic algebra for various things such as the GED or a college class. I worked for two years as a tutor at the Augusta State University Writing Center, tutoring all manner of students, from ESL to graduate students. I also tutored a student with aspergers; thus, I have experience working with special needs clients. I also do freelance editing. I am primarily versed in English, but if math (anything below pre-calculus) help is needed, I will gladly assist.

I recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and a Certificate in Computing which is one step down from a minor. The statistics degree program had a heavy emphasis in mathematics, so a lot of my course work contained math classes. I have always been in advanced math classes and have been tutoring friends, family, and colleagues since High School. I tutored at my high school for three years and have been surrounded by teachers my whole life. I am about to start tutoring at my college this summer and continue into the fall part time. As a college senior, I've come to value greatly my education. Prior to enrolling at the University of Georgia, I made a perfect 800 on the math section of my SATs. Even though I am a science major, I have a great understanding of math. Currently, I tutor middle schoolers in basic algebra, most of whom are struggling and need a lot of help.
