My teaching style has evolved as I gained more experience. I have always been interactive with students in the classroom through projects, cases, and role-playing. In later years, I have made extensive use of materials and videos on the Internet. For example, when working one-on-one with a learner, I have found it effective to use interesting questions and problems which require the learner to work through the material. Upon my graduation from high school, my calculus teacher, who had noticed my natural aptitude for mathematics and my ability to help other students to understand it, referred some younger students who had been struggling to me for tutoring. Due to my success with this first student, or rather, the student’s new found success in his math courses, my former teacher referred another student to me the following summer.
