A Little Bit About Me...

I am a certified 6 - 12 Secondary Mathematics teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years with my last four being at the college level. I have been awarded the Who's Who a number of times. I just received my master's degree in mathematics from Marquette this spring.
I am a compassionate person who will do whatever it takes to help students succeed. I always encourage my students to ask as many questions as they need to so that they have a firm understanding of the material. I love seeing the growth in the individual student. I believe a good teacher will be able to convey the information in way best-suited to the student. A teacher can be extremely knowledgable, but the student must be enabled to learn through motivation and having the material accessible/understandable. I want to make sure the student is on the same page as me, and understands concepts/approaches to learning rather than just memorizing the material.
