Private & Group Art Lessons in the Madison Area THIS Summer!

I am a recent grad from Stevens Point, starting my own private art teaching business. I have 7 years of professional experience, which includes gallery exhibits, juried shows and the sale of numerous works. I am most adept in oil painting, however I am also skilled in drawing (graphite, ink, charcoal, pastels) and 3 dimensional work (ceramic, metal, wood). I believe that all children can learn, and when a child has difficulty grasping a concept, the teacher must change their technique. I have used a variety of methods when working with children. Manipulatives, flash cards ,games and stimulus equivalence training are just a few. I also believe that a child that needs extra help with a subject should not feel like they are being punished. A teaching session should not just help a person learn a concept, but help develop a passing for knowledge and learning.
