I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education. I was a Special Education Teacher for two years and I've been a tutor for more than 5 years. I have learned creative ways to teach people with language barriers english from working in Japan. I have worked with all age groups for math, english, science, and reading. I enjoy the opportunity to teach individuals new things and opening their eyes to new experiences. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I love working with children of all ages. I can say I am patient enough to deal with elementary students being that I've done so before. I love to have fun with learning and can bring the fun of learning to the classroom. I want the students to want to learn and that is what I am going to bring to the table. Children's church is where a year of my experience comes from. I would guide a group of children during the service and would spend individual time with those who wanted to brush up on their reading and writing.
