Experience Summary
I have earned a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology. I also have a strong background with computers. While attending ASU, I enjoyed every aspect of learning. Throughout college I worked with children in a daycare and as a preschool teacher. Elementary school subjects are my best tutor subjects, such as math, science and spanish. I have worked with children whom have disabilities for the past three years and view that as my strong point. For these children to learn everything from speaking, counting, reading and continuing into age appropriate subjects is an amazing deed that I am blessed to be a part of and in a child’s life.
Teaching Style
I love working with children. I believe each child has a different way of learning. I believe children can reach their full learning potential when working with the right teaching strategies. I believe in providing a constructivist learning theory. I believe in a hands-on approach as well. A teacher can make a huge difference in a child’s life, which is what I strive to do.
I have the patience to work with children. I absolutely love the feeling when a child completes a task and learns from it. I know how to have fun with a child, while at the same time giving the appropriate teaching lessons for the student to learn.
