I believe that all children have the potential to learn and am a strong advocate of customized teaching. I am so drawn to the mathematics and sciences because I learn from working through problems and finding methods to solve them. When I tutor I tend to emphasize to the student to find a study method that works for them and adapt it to whatever they need to learn. I try to suggest to the student options for solving a problem and letting them discover the way they understand the best.
As a student throughout high school and college I have enjoyed learning and often joke with my friends that I would go to school forever if I could. I have completed both an MBA and bachelors degree in business and during that education I studied a wide array subjects. Marketing, Finance, accounting, HR, and economics. A Little Bit About Me...

My favorite part about teaching is the moment that something "clicks" within a child's mind. I am a problem solver naturally so I try to lead children down a path of discovery instead of just teaching the answer. I believe this helps children gain an understanding of how things work or why they are a certain way so that they are able to apply these same processes to other problems.
I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and BA in Spanish. I have 10 years of professional experience involving customer service, Spanish translation, tutoring, and training. As an ex-patriate, I was afforded the opportunity to learn Spanish fluently and have witnessed first hand its importance in business and life today. I also have elementary age children that I assist in the everyday learning processes.
