Special Needs Tutor: Specialties: Patience and experience

I am open as to how I instruct a child. Since my field of teaching has been that of Special Education, my students have always been allowed to develop their own learning style that is best for them. I do maintain order, but given the nature of my students, my classroom was not always what one would call typical. My students in the past have done well, and have gone on to secondary institutions. I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher in the Hoke County school district for 3 years now. I taught 5th grade for one year, then moved to second grade for the past two years. I have taught all subjects and have worked with students of various levels and abilities from Kindergarten through High school. I have had training in all areas of education through my undergraduate and graduate degrees, and have seen great success with the students in my classes.
I have found that the best way to teach students is to have them do, not listen.
