I began my (formal) teaching career as a Peace Corps volunteer in the countries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan where I taught English as a foreign language to the students ranging from the 3rd to the 11th grade, working with the local teachers in the host countries, and gaining valuable cultural and international insights.
